The Karan Johar Show Coffee with Karan has completed 20 successful years in the industry and still remains relevant, unlike its competitors, who died of natural causes. A show that resonates with both celebrities and its audience, Coffee with Karan enjoys cult status, a status symbol for many newcomers invited to the famous sofa compared to those who missed out.

Karan Johar celebrated the moment by sharing a video on Instagram featuring some sneak peeks from the episodes. Sharing the post, Karan wrote an adorable note that read: “20 years of Koffee, countless ‘guesses’ and unfiltered vibes! From jaw-dropping revelations to unforgettable moments, it’s been a glamor-filled adventure, and all the DRAMA! Thanks for always keeping it in the works.

The video included some memorable moments from the series over the years. Notably, the moment Preity Zinta revealed Saif Ali Khan’s message to him during the 2004 tsunami: “Hey PZ, underwater or what?

Another moment featured was when Ajay Devgn roasted Karan and said that all the latter’s films starting with ‘K’ were working until their release. Kaal (2005) did not do so. There’s also Alia Bhatt burping on national television, and Sonam Kapoor referencing Brahmastra: Part 1 – Shiva as “Shiva No. 1”, much to Karan’s surprise.

Coffee with Karan was created in 2004 and has been a regular among his fans ever since. The show ran for eight seasons and aired over 150 episodes. Its last two seasons were broadcast on Disney+ Hotstar.
