The list ranks Sir Paul and Nancy McCartney in 165th place, estimating their worth at a billion pounds. This makes the former Beatle the first and only British musician to become a billionaire. Other top earners include U2, Elton John and Mick Jagger, each earning hundreds of millions, but none have surpassed the billion mark.

It’s no surprise that McCartney is the first and only British musician to achieve this feat.
