THE Eagles are 8-2 and once again look like a team with legitimate Super Bowl aspirations in the NFC. Philadelphia is heading into a deep playoff run and will have to rely on depth, talent and versatility at several positions.

With Thursday Night Football set to kick off in just a few hours, we take a look at five key Eagles who deserve a bigger role in the second half of the season after the bye week.

Jahan Dotson

Dotson has nine catches for 106 yards (11.8 average), and with DeVonta Smith dealing with a lingering hamstring injury, the former Penn State wide receiver has the perfect opportunity to carve out a role for himself. the stretching run.

DB Sydney Brown

Brown tore his ACL last January, but when healthy he is active, physical at the point of attack and a solid tackler. Brown finished his rookie season with five starts in 13 games, recording 45 tackles, one tackle for loss, three passes defended and a 99-yard interception return against the Cardinals. Returning to the lineup, Brown has appeared in five games since his activation.

CB Isaiah Rodgers

Rodgers spent most of the summer as the starting cornerback opposite Darius Slay before Quinyon Mitchell’s late surge in training camp. Whether in spot duty for Slay or the dime package, Vic Fangio needs to find snaps for Rodgers in the Eagles secondary.

LB Jalyx Hunting

With Bryce Huff potentially on IR with a wrist injury, Hunt could play more of a pass rush specialist role.

DT Milton Williams

Williams can play defensive end in Vic Fangio’s defense. With Bryce Huff dealing with an injury, it won’t hurt to slide Williams down and give Moro Ojomo more snaps.

Bonus – LB Nolan Smith
