It was a busy weekend for Florida voters, with more than a million ballots cast, either by mail or by voters going to the polling place. early voting locations.

When is the 2024 presidential election?

The general election will take place on Tuesday, November 5. Polling stations will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

When is early voting in Florida?

The state requires early voting from Oct. 25 to Nov. 2, but each county’s supervisor of elections can choose to offer more days of early voting, starting up to five days earlier or lasting one day longer. Many began early voting on Monday, October 21, and some will continue to vote early through November 3.

The final deadline for postal voting requests were Thursday, October 24 at 5 p.m.

When are early and absentee ballots counted in Florida?

Florida law allows Ballots will be processed as soon as they are received and will be counted as soon as the county completes public testing of the automatic tabulation equipment, which will begin at least 25 days before early voting begins.
