Hemmes, known for turning his family’s fashion business into the billion-dollar hotel empire Merivale, is among Australia’s richest people, with the Financial Review Rich List estimating his family’s net worth to A$1.39 billion in May 2023.

Sources close to the couple confirmed to Confidential that Holtznagel was early in her pregnancy and was sharing the exciting news with close family and friends.

“They are over the moon,” the source revealed.

Although this is Holtznagel’s first child, it is Hemmes’ third.

He shares two daughters, Alexa and Saachi, with his ex-partner Kate Fowler, who is the sister of Victoria’s Secret model Georgia Fowler.

Despite their split, Hemmes and Fowler remain on good terms, recently vacationing together in New Zealand with their respective children and partners.

Hemmes, 52, and Holtznagel, 27, started dating in 2020.

The model previously revealed that the couple first met while she was working in Singapore and developed a friendship for two years before beginning their relationship.

The couple reside at Hemmes’ home in Sydney and frequently escape to his $7.5 million retreat in Narooma.

Holtznagel’s family is also making headlines, with his older sister Simone recently welcoming a daughter, Gia, in March.

Simone, a finalist on the seventh season of Australia’s Next Top Model, had a baby with fitness trainer Jono Castano, although the couple split shortly after Gia’s birth.

Rumors of their split emerged when Castano shared photos from a solo trip to Thailand just days after Gia’s birth.

Responding to speculation, he told the Daily Mail in August: “We just decided it was best for her (Simone) to spend time with her family in Wollongong.”

“Who knows what the future holds – our idea is just to be the best parents to Gia at this point.”

Hemmes and Holtznagel have not yet publicly confirmed the pregnancy.
