Police searching for federal offender known to frequent Orillia area

He is serving time for robbery, assault and other charges and has violated his statutory release, officials say.

The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (ROPE) Team is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a federal offender wanted on a Canada-wide warrant following a statutory release breach.

Kevin Okrah is described as a black man, 26 years old, 6’1″, (185 cm), 186 lbs (84 kg), with black hair and brown eyes.

Okrah is serving a sentence of five years, 11 months and 20 days for:

  • Robbery – use of a restricted/prohibited firearm (2)
  • Aggravated assault
  • Intentional disguise
  • Possession of a prohibited/restricted firearm/ammunition
  • Possession of a weapon contrary to a prohibition order
  • Failure to comply with the order – at large (x2)
  • Attempt all other criminal acts
  • Theft – all others

The offender frequents Ottawa, Toronto, the Durham region, Orillia in Ontario as well as the Laval region in Quebec.
