Paper lamps, of all shapes and sizes, are taking over

Two notable examples are Bennet Schlessingerwasp nest style paper lamps and Minjae KimThe fiberglass plant works of, both exhibited at the Marta gallery. Unlike the geometric, gridded style of a Noguchi lamp, Critton says Schlessinger’s work is characterized by more cocoon-like, organic shapes that “escape the grid,” while Kim’s lights manipulate fiberglass to create shapes sculptural.
