KENTWOOD, Mich. — The body found after a fire at a storage unit in Kentwood earlier this month has been identified.

Corinne Abosamra, 33, was found inside the Broadmoor self-storage facility on Nov. 7, the Kentwood Police Department said. The woman lived in the Ann Arbor area. The cause of his death remains under investigation. The Kent County Medical Examiner is still working on his report.

Kentwood Fire Department investigators have determined the fire started in the unit where Abosamra’s body was found, but say the cause of the fire cannot be determined due to the nature of the fire.

It is unclear whether Abosamra had any connection to the storage unit.
