Warm weekend ahead, followed by a cold front Sunday evening

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Hello and Happy Saturday! Temperatures are warming up just in time for the NWSL Championship Game with highs in the 50s today and 60s tomorrow! This will be a great weekend to get out and enjoy the mild temperatures before a cold front passes through, bringing temperatures down 20 degrees for Monday.

By Monday, a high of 42 degrees is forecast with an overnight low in the low 20s! Highs in the 40s will continue for most of the week before colder air appears by Thanksgiving and Friday. There is still a 20% chance of rain on Tuesday, with most areas remaining completely dry. On Wednesday, the chance of precipitation remains limited to 30%. Models this morning show more rain in the forecast than a wintry mix; however, there could be a change for a short period on Wednesday evening. A few snow showers are possible Thanksgiving morning before drying out.
