Danson also highlighted one of the show’s key themes, aging, which he said is often overlooked in movies and TV shows.

All of a sudden we think there’s an age limit or something, a lifespan to be creative, productive and giving in life. And it’s not, it shouldn’t be, and it’s up to people my age to continue.

He further discussed the importance of continuing to strive for creativity and productivity, regardless of age, emphasizing: “It’s also a good message for younger people, for your children, that your creativity, your productivity and your contribution to the world has no shelf life.”

Created by Michael Schur, with whom Danson previously worked on The right place, those of Netflix A man inside follows Danson as Charles, a retired widower, who embarks on a new adventure in life when a private detective hires him to infiltrate a San Francisco nursing home.

A man inside is available to watch on Netflix.
