“From someone who exists and has been ridiculed and bullied for a long time. I don’t think it’s appropriate to talk like that,” said Benjamin Formisano, reflecting on the harassment he experienced as a young gay man.

“I find it hard to believe that you can be president of the United States and talk and act like this,” added Formisano, a Harris supporter.

“He’s in a position of power, so he should be more reticent about some of the things he says in the way he chooses to say them. But no, I think he just has a backbone,” said Don Queen, 50, explaining why Trump is not a tyrant.

“The way he talks, the way he makes fun of people with disabilities. I mean, everything about him, he’s 100 percent a bully,” said Virginia Garcia, a Harris supporter.
