EastEnders spoilers report that Ruby and Martin will delve deeper into a hospital crisis over the coming week as their young son, Roman, struggles with something life-threatening. Regular viewers know that Louisa Lytton has taken over the role of Ruby earlier this year and immediately met her old flame, Martin, three years after he was sent to prison. In September, Sharon learned from Chrissie that she had met a pregnant Ruby behind bars.

The Walford businesswoman listened to the news for a while and shared it a little late with Martin, who was busy with Sonia’s imprisonment and the closure of Street Market. Viewers saw Sharon break the news to Martin and also provide a birth certificate. Ruby returned to Walford this week and accused her child’s father of stealing her son’s birth proof, but Sharon quickly corrected her.

Soon, Martin confronted Ruby, where she claimed she had given the baby up for adoption, but this later turned out to be a lie. Due to Ruby’s manipulative behavior, Martin followed her and arrived at the hospital where she was caring for her sick son. In the coming week, Roman’s condition will deteriorate and his biological father will step in to help Ruby and ask her to come back and freshen up.

After reaching Walford, Ruby will have an argument with Stacey about the whole ordeal. Actress Louisa shed some light on this and said that Ruby might soften her approach with Martin as he is the father of her child. She also noted that Martin didn’t help her when she was going to prison for something she didn’t do, so she reflects on her life separately.
