BALTIMORE — Sinclair Broadcast Group has raised nearly $1.3 million to help communities impacted by Hurricanes Helene and Milton.

Sinclair cares: Hurricane Relief, a fundraising partnership with the Salvation Army, has contributed to relief efforts in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Virginia and Tennessee.

The fundraising effort also supported the United Way in its post-hurricane efforts.

“We are incredibly grateful for the outpouring of support that allowed us to raise nearly $1.3 million to help with hurricane relief efforts,” said Rob Weisbord, COO and President local media.
