A retiree who was offered a ridiculous quote for a simple garden design job ended up completely transforming her outdoor space – for free.

This is exactly the situation a 76-year-old woman in Manchester faced recently.

According to the man behind the Garden Yardz Mowing account on TikTokhe was offered a staggering £2,500 to have his lawn mowed and his plants trimmed.

Garden Yardz Mowing has amassed over 21,000 subscribers on TikTok to share videos of garden transformations. He finds people who desperately need work but won’t pay the ridiculous price they’re offered, doing the work himself for free.

And that’s exactly what he did in this case. Her recent video shows for the first time what the pensioner’s garden looked like when she arrived, with grass growing several meters high and right in her way.

He took his trusty mower over the entire lawn, carefully making sure it was even and trim. The garden looked completely different at the end of his video.

The footage has been viewed more than 13,000 times and people were quick to thank Garden Yardz Mowing for their continued kindness.
