Storm Bert continues to batter the UK today, after bringing wind gusts of up to 82mph yesterday.

The Met Office warned the storm was likely to cause disruption across southern England and parts of Wales until 9pm, with a yellow wind warning in place.

Yellow warnings for rain have also been issued, with the National Weather Service saying there is a low risk of injury and “danger to life” due to large waves, flying debris and deep, fast-moving floodwaters .

Here’s a look at where the warnings are in place.

Scotland – A yellow weather warning for wind is in place in the Highlands, Eilean Siar and Strathclyde until 11:59 p.m.

The Met Office warns that gusts of between 55 and 65 mph are likely and, around the most exposed coastlines, gusts of 70 and 75 mph are possible.

Northern Ireland – A yellow weather alert for wind has been issued across the country until 6 p.m.

Strong winds are expected to develop this morning, with gusts of 55 mph expected.

Wales – A yellow weather warning for rain covers Blaenau Gwent, Bridgend, Caerphilly, Cardiff, Merthyr Tydfil, Monmouthshire, Neath Port Talbot, Newport, Powys, Rhondda Cynon Taf, Swansea, Torfaen and Vale of Glamorgan until 1 p.m.

Southeast – A yellow warning for wind has also been placed over Brighton and Hove, East Sussex, Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Kent, Portsmouth, Southampton, Surrey and West Sussex until 9pm.

A yellow rain warning has been issued for Hampshire, Oxfordshire, Portsmouth, Southampton and West Berkshire until 11.45pm.

Southwest – A yellow warning for wind covers Bath, Somerset, Bournemouth, Bristol, Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Isles of Scilly, Somerset, Plymouth, Gloucestershire, Torbay and Wiltshire until 9 p.m.

Large areas of the southwest are also covered by a yellow rain warning.

West Midlands – A yellow rain warning is in place for Herefordshire until 11:45 p.m.
