RUTLAND, Vt. (WCAX) – The Rutland County Sheriff’s Department responded to a home in Wells for reports of shots fired before 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

The investigation determined that a handgun round was fired at a home located at 200 Lamb Hill Road. No one was hurt. Witnesses say it may have been a dark-colored vehicle involved, but police do not know the make or model.

The Rutland County Sheriff’s Department is asking for any information about the incident at telephone number 802-775-8002.
