Winter Weather Advisory issued for the Upper Peninsula for Monday – up to 4 inches of snow

Sunday at 2:19 p.m. EST, the National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory effective for Monday between 1 a.m. EST and 1 p.m. EST for Keweenaw, Ontonagon, Houghton, Baraga, Marquette, Gogebic, Iron and Dickinson counties.

The weather service describes: “Total snow accumulations between 2 and 4 inches, with higher accumulations up to 6 inches.”

“Expect slippery roads. Dangerous conditions could impact travel on Monday morning,” adds the weather service. “Slow down and be careful when traveling.”
