WEBSTER CO., Ky. (WFIE) – Webster County Animal Care and Control hosted a Facebook live event to raise money for animals in need.

The shelter has partnered with Jordan’s Way, an organization that travels the country raising money for shelters.

When they met certain fundraising goals, it meant shelter employees and volunteers wouldn’t have to do things like drink “yellow snow,” eat giant water bugs, or shave their heads .

In an article, they say they raised almost $11,000.
