Johnny Depp and Penélope Cruz team up again to Day Drinkera thriller that Marc Webb will direct for Lionsgate.

The project is the second recent collaboration between Lionsgate and 30WEST, who also teamed up for Power Ballada musical-themed comedy directed by John Carney starring Paul Rudd and Nick Jonas. It is currently in post-production. 30WEST will also executive produce Drinker.

Drinker will mark the fourth time Depp and Cruz have worked together, following Blow, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Uncharted Tides And Murder on the Orient Express.

Webb is the director who broke into Hollywood with his Sundance hit 500 days of summer then continued to lead Amazing Spider-Man And The Amazing Spider-Man 2. He is stationed on a live-action version of snow White for Disney.

Depp is repped by Range Media Partners and attorney Lisa Nitti while Cruz is represented by CAA, Untitled Entertainment and Kuranda Management.

Webb is represented by CAA and Lichter, Grossman and Dean by CAA, Kolbrenner’s Lit Entertainment Group and attorney Andrew Hurwitz.
