Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy affirmed his commitment to the Musi River Revival Project, saying he had no intention of walking away from the initiative.

The chief minister announced that the foundation stone of the Musi rejuvenation project would be laid on November 1 and work would begin at Bapughat. Tenders for the project will be published before November.

Revanth Reddy also expressed his willingness to hold discussions with opposition parties regarding the Musi rejuvenation project, adding that an all-party meeting will be convened soon. The government plans to develop a 21 km stretch from Bapughat.

The CM also mentioned the ongoing investigations into phone tapping, Kaleswaram project and power procurement, assuring that no party influence would affect the investigation process and actions will be based on agency reports investigation.
