Ithaca man and woman arrested after police raid

ITHACA, New York (WETM) — An Ithaca man and woman were arrested after police searching for a wanted person searched an apartment.

According to the Ithaca Police Department, officers executed a search warrant at an apartment in the 600 block of Spencer Road around 8:50 p.m. on Monday, October 28. Police say officers executed the warrant without incident and arrested a 44-year-old man. old Allen Forest and Jessica Anderson, 24 years old.

Two arrested after drug, weapons raid in Ithaca

Forest was charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration (a class A misdemeanor), and there were 13 warrants out of Ithaca Municipal Court for his arrest.

Anderson was charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration (a class A misdemeanor), second-degree criminal contempt (a class A misdemeanor), and second-degree burglary (a class C felony) .

The charges against both men were read in Ithaca Municipal Court. Forest was taken to the Tompkins County Jail on $2,000 bond/$4,000 insurance company bond/10% of $25,000 unsecured bond. Anderson was taken to jail on $3,000 bail, a $6,000 insurance company bond and 10 percent of a $30,000 unsecured bond.
