Lucky ticket sold to Glenn Dale wins $1.8 million multi-game jackpot

GLENN DALE, MD. — A lucky Prince George’s County player won a $1.8 million multi-game jackpot after purchasing the winning ticket for the Oct. 28 drawing, Maryland Lottery officials announced Tuesday.

The winning ticket was sold at the Chesapeake Market, located at 12300 Annapolis Road in Glenn Dale. The winning numbers in the Monday evening drawing were 06, 12, 14, 30, 37 and 42. The jackpot winner has the option to choose the full annuity of $1.8 million, paid over 25 years, or a one-time payment in cash estimated at $1.075 million before taxes.

Lottery officials urge the winner to sign the back of the ticket and keep it in a safe place. Prizes over $25,000 must be claimed by mail or at the Maryland Lottery headquarters in Baltimore, and the winner has 182 days from the drawing date to claim their prize.

This is the eighth Multi-Match jackpot won in Maryland this year, with previous jackpots ranging from $500,000 to $2.1 million. For selling the winning ticket, Chesapeake Market will receive a $1,800 bonus from the Maryland Lottery.
