Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump will both return to Wisconsin on Wednesday, less than a week before Election Day.

Harris to hold Get Out the Vote rally in Madisonwhile Trump to deliver speech in Green Bay suburb Ashwaubenon at Resch Center.

Harris’ rally will feature performances by Gracie Abrams, Mumford & Sons, Remi Wolf and The National’s Matt Berninger and Aaron Dessner, according to the campaign. Trump’s rally will feature former Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre.

The presidential candidates and their surrogates have surveyed the state over the last few weeks, as Wisconsin will play an important role in the election.

Harris’ rally will take place at the Alliant Energy Center, although the time has not been publicly announced.

The effort to get UW-Madison students and Dane County out to vote comes about a month after Harris made his first visit to the Wisconsin capital since launching his presidential campaign in July. It was also at the Alliant Energy Center.

Former President Barack Obama rallied the liberal base to Madison last week, the first day of early voting.

Visits highlight the growing importance of Dane County in elections as its population grows, surpassing others across the state.

Trump is expected to speak around 6 p.m. at the Resch Center. A notice for the event suggested he would focus his remarks on the economy.

Wednesday’s event will mark Trump’s second stop in Green Bay this year. He made his first stop in the battleground state in April, when he rallied voters at a convention center in downtown Green Bay.

Harris will return to Wisconsin on Friday, the same day as Trump. hold a rally at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee.

The concurrent appearances will mark the second time in this final week before the election that Harris and Trump will both be in the key state on the same day to make their closing speeches to voters.

It was not immediately clear where Harris would go in Wisconsin, how many events she would hold and whether they would be rallies or small gatherings.

Trump will return Friday at 7 p.m. to the downtown arena where he formally accepted the nomination to seek a second term in the White House during the Republican National Convention in July.

He is expected to make an economic speech to voters.

“The movement to put Americans first resonates with voters even in deep blue Milwaukee, and that’s exactly why Wisconsin will turn red for the Trump-Vance ticket,” the campaign said in a press release announcing the visit.
