Police have launched a search for two people of interest following an incident near Deloraine.

Authorities believe one of the individuals is male and may be wearing a black cap, a black t-shirt with a white logo and black pants.

The other person would be wearing gray sweatpants, a gray t-shirt with a red circle emblem, and black shoes.

The Westpac rescue helicopter was sent to the scene to assist in the search.

Anyone near Deloraine who sees people matching the descriptions is asked to contact police on 131 444.
