Kylie Rogers has a pigeon problem. It’s not exactly the sort of problem she thought she would inherit as the new general manager of the Victoria Racing Club, but it’s a significant one for the 18 trainers who use the 300-acre Flemington Racecourse.

Rogers is used to managing people with different priorities and agendas. As the Australian Football League’s chief commercial officer, she regularly had to manage the competing interests of the league’s 18 clubs.
