Sydney Sweeney’s Homes: Here’s Where the Rising Star Owns Property

Sydney Sweeney’s homes are a testament to his talent and dynamism. The Spokane, Washingtonthe native is seemingly everywhere these days, with a roster of roles spanning every genre: romantic comedy (Anyone but you), action (Madame Web), horror (Immaculate), and soon a biopic (the still untitled film about boxer Christy Martin). However, before she found success, Sweeney and her family moved to Los Angeles when she was 13 in hopes of launching her career, but things got off to a rocky start. “We lived in one room,” she says in a Hollywood journalist profile of the motel where they lived. “My mom and I shared a bed and my dad and my little brother shared a couch.” These days, Sweeney’s fortunes have turned around and she has used her new wealth to help her family. She paid off her mother’s mortgage, took her grandparents to Italy to visit her on set, and bought her uncle’s dream boat for the family lake. she shared with Charm. “I come from a family where I saw my parents lose everything, and that terrifies me,” she says, referring to her parents’ bankruptcy. “This fear will always be instilled in me. I am a big saver. I’m not just going to spend money. I like investing. I like real estate. Below, we share a small glimpse into Sweeney’s growing portfolio of properties, which will no doubt continue to expand as his star continues to rise.

Tudor-style Westwood House

After spending several years in Los Angeles, Sweeney still found it difficult to succeed. She had small roles in shows like Grey’s Anatomy And Pretty Little Liars, but it wasn’t until 2018 that his career really started to gain momentum with the lead role in the Netflix series. Everything is rubbish! and a small but memorable part on The Handmaid’s Tale. Then, in 2019, she landed a role in Euphoria opposite Zendaya, Hunter Schafer and other newcomers, catapulting her to a new level of fame. Two years later, Sweeney paid $3 million for his first homea historic Tudor-style home in Westwood. “I always thought that when I was 18, I would have all this money and I would buy my parents’ house and put them back together. And I never could do it, and I never did,” she said. said The associated press that same year. “So now, being able to live in a house is such an incredible, humbling, unbelievable accomplishment that I still can’t believe I was able to achieve it.” The mansion, originally built in 1933, features a unique double A-frame that houses five bedrooms and four bathrooms spread across 3,200 square feet. It also features vaulted wood-beamed ceilings and original brick fireplaces. One of its most unique features? A funicular system that transports guests from the base of the hill it is perched on to the front door. Sweeney rightly refers to this charming residence like “Snow White’s castle”.

Generational family home

The following year, Sweeney allegedly bought back the generational family home, she revealed during an episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show. “My great-grandmother had this beautiful house, it’s a lovely two-bedroom house that they lived in,” she said. “My grandmother and mother were born there, and then as the children grew up, they built another house on the property.” Sweeney explained that after his great-grandfather passed away and as his great-grandmother got older, they simply could no longer afford to keep the property. It is then that the White Lotus The star decided to intervene. “Last year, I called the owners and said, ‘I want to buy back my great-grandmother’s house.'” She did, and now, she shared with Clarkson, she has the best neighbors. “My grandmother still lives in the house next door, so I’m next door to my grandmother now,” she said, referring to her grandmother. Details of the property itself are not readily available.

Domaine Bel-Air

In 2023, Sweeney paid $6.2 million for a property to renovate in Bel-Air. The 1930s estate oozes old-school Hollywood glamor, comprised of a 4,477-square-foot mansion set on 1.25 acres. Sweeney reportedly won the residence in a bidding war. It was last sold in 1984 and was previously owned by the son of Hollywood screenwriter Delmer Daves, who rose to fame during Hollywood’s golden age of the 1940s and 1950s. The two-story house has five bedrooms and four bathrooms and is currently covered with a network of evergreen vines; there is also a separate guest house and swimming pool, in addition to a (currently) overgrown garden. “We’re going to repair it as much as possible without hurting anything.” Sweeney said Charm of the renovation process. “I don’t want anyone to come in and be like, ‘Oh, when did you do that again?’ I want it to feel timeless, just the way it is. When the time comes, Sweeney will no doubt dress the house in style and in keeping with the Old Hollywood aesthetic. After all, she has an unexpected love for furniture and vintage cars.

Florida Mansion

A year later, the Sharp objects star lost $13.5 million for a beachfront resort in Florida, just outside of Key West. Sweeney’s latest real estate purchase includes six bedrooms and eight bathrooms spread across 7,720 square feet, with a 330-gallon aquarium, 520-bottle wine cellar, chef’s kitchen, home gym and gym games. Images of the property reveal a large infinity pool with a swim-up bar and adjoining spa, with a spacious rear terrace surrounded by tall palm trees. There also appears to be a private boat launch.
