Republicans narrow Democrats’ early voting advantage

As of Thursday, nearly 30 million Americans had voted early – either in person or by mail. With Election Day just days away, Republicans cut Democrats’ 14 percentage point advantage in early voting in half from 2020.. That’s now a 7-point advantage for Democrats.

But election data experts say there’s no clear conclusion build on Republican gains in early voting, and allies of Vice President Kamala Harris insist the trend is no cause for panic for their troops.

Los Angeles prosecutor supports Menendez brothers’ conviction

Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón is set to file his recommendation to the court Friday for the resentencing of Erik and Lyle Menendez, brothers who are serving life sentences without the possibility of parole for their parents’ murders in a case that first captured national attention 35 years ago. There is. Gascón will insist that the possibility of parole be put back on the table. The sentence for two murders is 50 years to life in prison, but because the brothers were under the age of 26 at the time of the crime, Gascón said they would be immediately eligible for parole under California law .
