Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying Jane Doe

EUGENE, Ore. — The Eugene Police Department is asking the public for help in identifying an unidentified woman, aka “Jane Doe.”

According to the EPD, on October 17, 2024, a woman was arrested for trespassing in the 100. building of W. 11th.

Police said the woman was taken to the Lane County Jail as unidentified and appeared to be homeless and suffering from mental health issues at the time.

Before EPD releases her from jail, they are asking the public for help identifying her.

She remains unidentified and Eugene Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying her because when she is released from prison, she may be vulnerable and at risk, in need of unknown services.

When police asked her name, she identified herself as Lux Jupiter, EPD said, but no information was found on that name. The department said there were no matches to the fingerprints on file or other identifying information.

Police describe the woman as a white woman with shoulder-length blonde hair and brown eyes. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Jed McGuire at [email protected]or call 541-682-6308.
