Voters are assigned specific polling locations based on where they are registered to vote. To find your voting location, go to mvp.sos.ga.gov/s/.

What to bring to the polls

Voters must show a photo ID to vote in Georgia. Acceptable forms of identification include:

  • Any valid state or federally issued photo ID, including a free ID card issued by the county recorder’s office or the Georgia Department of Driver Services (DDS).

  • Georgian driving license, even if expired.

  • A valid employee photo identification from any branch, department, agency or entity of the United States Government, Georgia, or any county, municipality, board, authority or other entity of the State.

  • Valid US Passport ID Card.

  • A valid U.S. military photo ID containing a photo of the voter.

  • Student photo identification card issued by a Georgia public college, university, or technical school.

  • A valid tribal photo ID containing your photo.

When do polling stations open and close?

On election day, polling stations are open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. But polling stations will remain open to anyone waiting in line until 7 p.m.

What happens if I have problems voting?
