Adilabad: The Mancherial police deployed security to confine an aghori (a sadhu of the Shaivate order) to her house at Krishnapalli in Nennel mandal of Mancherial district after her declaration that she would sacrifice herself on Friday at a venue of worship in Secunderabad for “lokakalyanam”. She stayed in Hyderabad for some time and went to her village Krishnapalli to see her family members. The police counseled the sadhu’s parents and asked them to convince her to abandon her decision.
