Elections 2024: what to expect, the priorities of young voters and the content of the ballot

In this last episode before November 5, we will talk about the elections. With just four days to go, what can we expect in Rhode Island and what do we know about how the outcome will affect our region? Political journalist Ian Donnis and political scientist Adam Myers will analyze it. Plus, five Johnson & Wales University students tell us what they feel and think about when making their voting decision. Plus, what exactly is on the Rhode Island ballot? We’ll review the final statewide ballot question, which asks voters to approve a $10 million arts and culture bond. This and much more on this week’s show.

Guests:

  • Ian Donnis, The Public’s Radio political reporter
  • Adam Myers, associate professor of political science at Providence College
  • William Bonnano, Johnson & Wales student
  • Darlene Gonzalez, student at Johnson & Wales
  • Kay Allen, student at Johnson & Wales
  • Jonathan Charles, student at Johnson & Wales
