Katy Perry celebrates its 40th anniversary in style.

The “Firework” singer, whose birthday was October 25, appeared to have spent the milestone day alongside friends and loved ones at an Orient Express-themed party. The celebration, which Semafor reports took place across Europe, took place last weekend.

The Orient Express was a luxury train line that spanned more than 80 years oldstopping in the most luxurious cities in Europe.

The iconic train is perhaps most famous for being featured in the 1934 detective novel. Murder on the Orient Expresswhich was made into a star-studded film starring stars like Penelope Cruz, Michelle Pfeiffer And Marguerite Ridley in 2017.

Celebrity friend and stylist Johnny Wujek shared photos of the festivities with his Instagram on October 29. The celebration included period costumes, antique wagons and plenty of mystery-themed games.

“We Orient expressed our LOVE for the one and only @katyperry to celebrate its 40th trip around the Sun. If anyone knows how to throw a party, it’s KP. #whataTRIP“, he wrote in the caption.

The post also featured a video of what appears to be a friend toasting Perry, along with her fiancé. Orlando Bloom smiling in the background.

Although it looks like the old one American idol The judge pulled out all the stops this year, but the singer has spent recent birthdays much more discreet.
