Netflix has confirmed its slate of new films for November 2024and as expected, the streaming service is adding a big handful of new movies. While not every new addition is a winner (yes, I’m looking at you, “The Scorpion King”), there are still several new Netflix movies that deserve a spot on your watchlist.

My choice is easily “Whiplash”. This masterful drama is one of the most famous films of the 21st century and deserves all the praise it has received. Directed by Damien Chazelle and starring Miles Teller and JK Simmons (who won a now-iconic Supporting Actor Oscar), it’s a must-see, even for those who have already seen it.
