Che’chulae Dowling and her Jackson State women’s soccer teammates trailed Mississippi Valley State (MVSU) 1 – 0 at halftime, but rallied to tie the game at 2 – 2 on the road at the field of MVSU football.

MVSU took a 1-0 lead when Liana Bryant scored in the 30th minute, assisted by Jacquelline Kambere.

Jackson State responded to tie the game on a goal by Amalia Fonua, its first goal of the season, in the 75th minute.

Mississippi Valley State took a 2-1 lead on Kambere’s goal in the 84th minute.

However, Jackson State tied it up at 2–2 with a goal from Kendyl Terrell in the 84th minute, her fifth goal of the season.

The goal capped the score of the match.
