Format of the League of Legends Pacific Championship (LCP 2025)

  • Kick-off of the season
  • Mid-season
  • Season Finals

Kick-off of the season

Eight teams participate in a single round-robin format during the regular season, competing in best-of-three matches.

The top six teams will advance to the qualifying series, where they will compete in a combination of best-of-three and best-of-five matches to determine the first LCP representative for the next international event.

THE Fearless Draft A system is adopted, which prevents teams from selecting champions already chosen in previous matches of each best in the series. This encourages greater diversity in team composition.

Mid-season

During this division, teams compete to become one of two representatives qualifying for the Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) from their regional leagues.

The regular season features a double-round tournament format with best-of-one matches to determine the top six teams to advance to the qualifying series.

In the qualifying series, teams compete in best-of-three matches in rounds 1 and 2, followed by best-of-five matches in the final rounds. The top two teams will earn their place at MSI.

Additionally, performances during the mid-season influence seeding for the next LCP division: the Season Finals.

Season Finals

Teams will be ranked based on their performance during mid-season, and the winner of that division is named the first-ever LCP Champion.

Teams also compete for the chance to represent the LCP on the biggest stage, with three Worlds qualifying spots up for grabs.
