    Pollster Zogby: “God help whoever wins this one”

    The week began with insults and anger from a supporter of former President Donald Trump. Puerto Rican Americans by calling their spectacularly beautiful home a “floating island of garbage.”

    That Trump didn’t quite disown this supporter was bad. The week ended with sitting President Joe Biden calling Trump supporters “trash.” He tried to talk his way out of it, but we all heard what we heard.

    I do political polling for a living and I’m sick of this bullshit. Next week we will know – or not know – what happened. But this election period was terrible. God help whoever wins this one.

    As the presidential campaign reached its final days, there was at least a little fun to be had. President Joe Biden’s shot at Trump supporters – calling them “trash” – was the highlight of the week. Democrats continue to tell the biggest lie of the campaign, and the Ministry of Justice wants illegal aliens to vote in the presidential election.

    It’s pretty obvious that Biden wants Vice President Kamala Harris to lose. How else can we explain his calling all supporters of former President Donald Trump “trash”? There was a slight hubbub about White House I tried to edit what he said, but there is the videotape that makes it perfectly clear.

    If that wasn’t enough for Harris, a day later, Trump — a showman to the end — showed up in the passenger seat of a massive garbage truck with his campaign logo painted on the side. He hung out the passenger side window and gave an impromptu press conference.

    THE Democrats continue to rely on the biggest lie of the campaign: that if Republicans win, they will enact – and Trump will sign – a national abortion ban. The Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision, which overturned Roe v. Wade, specifically made abortion an issue that states could or could not control. No national ban on abortion is possible. But the gullible, the insensitive and the unintelligent – ​​and the media – all fall for lies. It’s like Mao Zedong said: a lie repeated a hundred times becomes the truth.

    THE Supreme Court rejected a Justice Department request that Virginia be forced to allow illegal aliens — who had identified themselves as noncitizens — to vote. Reason is rare these days, but for once it prevailed.

    Meanwhile, Harris’ campaign was doling out six-figure donations to groups that supported defunding the police and paying reparations to black people to apologize for slavery. Harris said she thinks we should have a conversation about reparations.

    If you want to know about Harris’ politics, you’ll never get it from her. But recent revelations tell us a lot.

    Harris, according to credible reports, ordered a review of years of intelligence briefings to determine whether they showed gender bias. It is more important to her that the correct pronouns are used rather than whether the information is accurate. And then again, there is Joe. His flood of economy-damaging regulations is poised to reach a record level for any presidency.

    To top it all off, Secretary of State Anthony Blinken This is once again the case in the Middle East, where attempts are being made to appease the Iranians by persuading the Israelis to initiate a ceasefire in Lebanon. The Israelis – and the bad guys – ignore this, as usual.

    If Trump is elected on Tuesday, he will have a lot of housekeeping to do.
