Didrik Henbrant scored a hat-trick to give Nottingham Panthers a 3-1 win over Cardiff Devils in the Elite League.

The contest in Nottingham was significantly delayed due to the Devils’ travel disruptions.

After a scoreless first half, Henbrant gave the hosts the lead in the second half.

Brett Perlini equalized for the Devils shortly after, but Henbrant scored twice in the late stages of the third period to earn the victory for the Panthers.

The Devils return to action against Sheffield Steelers in the Challenge Cup on Sunday (18:00 GMT). The Panthers travel to Fife Flyers in the Elite League on the same day (17:15 GMT).
