Dashcam footage also confirmed she was walking along Graigwen Road towards Ynysybwl at around 10.05am on the day she went missing, while another witness saw her at Twyn Y Glog in the village at around 12pm 45.

Chief Inspector Matt Rowlands said his team had “worked tirelessly to try to establish the circumstances of her disappearance”.

“Officers with specialist training and search equipment carried out extensive searches to find Joanne, including searching wooded areas close to where she was last seen,” he said. -he added.

“We have also deployed the National Police Air Service, drones, mountain rescue volunteers, specialist search dogs and distributed missing persons leaflets to local dog walkers and hikers.

“We are keeping an open mind about what happened to Joanne and continuing to conduct thorough investigations.”
