Boston College lands class of 2025 running back

Boston College landed its 25th Class of 2025 commit this week, further strengthening the Eagles’ already strong class.

Running back Bo MacCormack of Westford, Massachusetts officially announced his commitment via social media Saturday evening, saying, “After talking with my family, I have decided to commit to Boston College. I am very excited about this opportunity. I can’t wait to get to work.”

The 6-foot, 190-pound back is a two-sport athlete, also playing baseball for the Buckingham Browne & Nichols Knights. He helped his football team this season to an impressive 7-0 record, beating most teams by multiple scores.

Currently, Boston College holds the 48th ranked recruiting class in the country, according to 247Sportsbut the Eagles have made progress in recent weeks, landing the 3-star defensive lineman Sterling Sanders on October 28 and secure a commitment from a 2026 class Stevie Amar earlier in the same month.

Bill O’Brien, in his short time at the helm of Boston College football, has come a long way not only in terms of product on the field, but also in terms of recruiting. He’s proven at every step that he needs to be an elite recruiter of talent, so given the time it takes to build, O’Brien’s future in Chestnut Hill is very bright.
