EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) – One of the winners of Elon Musk’s $1 million election lottery is from Eau Claire.

An article on “X” Thursday evening shows a large check written to Brian Bauer of Musk’s US PAC.

The post states that Brian from Eau Claire Wisconsin received $1 million for signing the petition in favor of the constitution.

Musk, who has supported Donald Trump, announced last weekend that the PAC would give $1 million to a voter every day until November 5, 2024, if they signed his petition.

The Justice Department reportedly warned Musk this week that the gift might be illegal.

The PAC did not announce a daily winner Wednesday but resumed Thursday evening.
