Hugh Jackman is on the side of Martha Stewart.

The actor, 56, weighed in on the playful beef between his long-time friend Ryan Reynolds and the lifestyle guru, 83, after appearing as a special guest on Bilt Awards‘ November Free rent game show and said Reynolds, 48, is “not so funny in real life“.

Reynolds later replied with a comment on half.”

Soon after, Jackman, who recently starred alongside Reynolds in Deadpool and Wolverineshared his thoughts on the situation, responding to Reynolds’ comment and agreeing with Stewart, writing, “Finally, someone says it.”

Reynolds and Jackman engaged in a playful quarrel for many years.

Jackman said The daily beast in a 2020 interview that he believes Scarlett Johansson started the joke, given that it was married to Reynolds from 2008 to 2011. (The star is now married to Blake Lively.)

“I loved him because I was very close friends with Scarlett, and Scarlett had just married Ryan, so when he came on set, I told him, ‘Hey, you better have a good behavior here, buddy, because I am,’ and we started making fun of each other that way,” Jackman said.

“And then everything degenerated with dead Pool thing and he called me and tried to manipulate me through social media to do what he wanted,” he added.

Recently, Reynolds and Jackman shared heartfelt — and funny — messages on their respective birthdays in October.
