Kamala Harris ends her presidential campaign Monday with the firepower of a musical artist

Music and musical artists had a profound impact on both countries’ presidential campaigns. Donald Trump And Kamala Harris This year. Harris is expected to end her White House bid Monday evening, the day before Election Day Tuesday, and part of that campaign’s end Monday will involve a notable roster of musicians.

Harris will spend Monday focusing largely on the battleground state of Pennsylvania, with its many Electoral College delegates up for grabs. The “Get Out The Vote” organizational events will involve rallies in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia and the Harris campaign is bringing out star power in terms of musical artists stepping up to help her campaign.

On Monday evening, Harris will arrive in the Steel City to host the final hours of his campaign and at that rally, a trio of music stars will cheer him on. Three renowned musicians will be present for the Pittsburgh event, including D-Pretty, Katy Perry And Andra Day.

Harris will also travel with Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff. Although Harris is physically present at the Pennsylvania events, they are part of a larger coordinated effort in six other states Monday evening.

“These events are part of a series of simultaneous organizing events the campaign is holding in all seven battleground states to capture grassroots enthusiasm and mobilize voters ahead of Election Day,” a statement said. Harris campaign press release.

Harris will finish Monday night in Philadelphia. The City of Brotherly Love’s roster of musical artists is more extensive than Pittsburgh’s. DJ Cassidy, Big Joe, Highway and Just Blaze, Lady Gaga, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Ricky Martine, The roots, Jasmine Sullivan And Adam Blackstone are all set to attend Philadelphia event, talk show host and cultural icon Oprah Winfrey is also scheduled to speak to the crowd.

“These artists and public figures are trusted voices for millions of Americans, who listen to their music, follow them on social media or are inspired by them. The Harris-Walz campaign believes that by using their voices to expose the issues in this election, it will encourage and mobilize more people to vote,” the Harris campaign said in the press release.
