Fousey responds after Kick CEO indefinitely bans him from the platform

Fousey was banned from Kick just minutes into his 30-day run, and Kick CEO Eddie explained why the creator was banned from his platform indefinitely.

When it comes to streamers, it’s rare for someone to be permanently banned from a platform with no chance of coming back or appealing the ban. High-profile examples like this, like Dr Disrespect’s Twitch ban, spark wild speculation about what could actually have happened to make a ban permanent.

However, in Fousey’s case, Kick CEO Eddie explained why Fousey is banned in no uncertain terms in a response to Sam Pepper.

“No more Fousey, man. It’s not good for anyone,” is what he had to say.

Considering the amount of controversy in which Fousey was embroiled when it returns to livestreaming, it’s not a huge surprise. Kai Cenat even offered to help him, but canceled his invitation after a disastrous video call during his mafiathon.

This ban is particularly motivated by the fact that the creator threatened to harm himself during his live broadcast, threats which made viewers fear for his safety.

Following her permanent removal from the platform, Fousey responded to the ban and blamed her production team for her streaming crash.

“Ten minutes after going live, the settings were wrong. My team, who had assured me we were ready 48 hours ago, had not checked and tested everything thoroughly. The sound was muted for 30 minutes. I lost control under the pressure and ended up saying things I’m not proud of. I know I take responsibility for my actions, but the setup broke me. he explained.

“KICK, you unbanned me right after, but banning me then, when I was your biggest star, without even a call or text… wasn’t right. That’s it, that’s all. You won’t see me on kick.com/fousey anymore, unless one day I’m streaming a concert as one of the biggest rappers in the world.

He has posted several tweets in rapid succession since his ban, calling out Kick and threatening violence towards others.
