Taylor Swift-themed cruise returns to Miami after passengers searched

The next morning, Coast Guard and Royal Bahamas Defense Force crews were still searching for the missing woman. The Coast Guard diverted an HC-144 aircraft crew and an MH-65 Dolphin helicopter from Miami Air Force Base to assist.

A representative from the U.S. Coast Guard later told PEOPLE on Wednesday afternoon that the Royal Bahamas Defense Force had suspended the search and was no longer requesting assistance from the Coast Guard.

Passenger Bradly Sriro spoke with CBS News about the now-suspended search, which he described as “all hands on deck” with rescuers conducting searches into Tuesday night. As he shared, those present were “obviously concerned” because he was also outside trying to “see what was going on.”

“There was security everywhere, it was chaotic. The cruise director came on the intercom and said the captain had authorized a search and rescue operation,” he said. “Everyone was just there trying to see what was happening, around 10 p.m. We were there until about 2 a.m.,” he added.
