Maxx Crosby is clearly fed up after Raiders are embarrassed by Bengals

THE Las Vegas RaidersThe 2024 season continues to spiral out of control after the team lost its fifth straight game on Sunday to the Cincinnati Bengals, dropping its record to 2-7.

As if a defeat in itself wasn’t bad enough, Las Vegas was completely smoked, 41-24. Even the score doesn’t do justice to the loss. The Raiders were completely outplayed in every facet of the game and trailed 31-10 before two needless touchdowns in the fourth quarter.

After the loss, star edge rusher Maxx Crosby expressed his frustration with another putrid performance from Las Vegas. He’s obviously tired of losing.

“It sucks to lose five f***ing games in a row,” he said, according to ESPN’s Paul Gutiérrez. “That’s really all it is. It sucks. “There’s nothing to say. I mean, you have to show up, improve and work. That’s all we can do. Control the controllable elements.”

When asked if the team had any soul-searching to do during the Week 10 bye, the Raiders’ defensive leader didn’t really have an answer.

“It’s difficult to answer. I mean, everyone’s going to look in the mirror. Everyone has to get better,” Crosby said. “It starts with me. So yes, everyone has to continue to improve. That’s all we can do.

Crosby has been the subject of endless trade speculation, and it’s easy to see why with the dumpster that is the Raiders. However, Crosby continues to say he doesn’t want to be traded, and owner Mark Davis isn’t interested in that either.

The NFL trade deadline falls on Tuesday, November 5 at 4 p.m. ET. Maybe this latest loss will be enough to change Crosby’s mind, but we wouldn’t count on it.

Regardless, Crosby deserves to be in a better situation.
