Instead, we received three product videos announcing the devices and more details revealed via the website. The new M4 processor has also received more variants, currently powering the MacBook Pro, Mac Mini, and iMac. Monday October 29: launch of the iMac M4 with the USB C magic mouse

Apple kicked off the big Mac week with the launch of the new version of the M4-powered iMac, which will arrive in various regions, including India, starting in November. The new iMac M4 features a 24-inch 4.5K Retina display with the option of a nano-textured panel for an additional cost.

The new Magic Mouse and Keyboard are finally moving to USB C ports, however, you still have to place the cable on the underside of the mouse, which has annoyed millions of people for years. Apple has offered a new 12 MP central wide camera for better video quality of meetings and the keyboard has Touch ID option for security with some variants.

Apple iMac M4 model price in India starts from Rs 1,34,900 for the base model with 16GB RAM and 256GB SSD storage. The top-end iMac M4 model goes up to Rs 3 lakh with 32GB of RAM and up to 2TB of storage.

Tuesday October 30: Mac Mini M4 New-Look

The M4 Mac Mini was the next Apple product to launch in October. The M4 Mac Mini’s biggest improvement, besides the hardware, is the compact size, making the Mini as small as the Apple TV. Apple claims that the M4 Mac Mini can run 1.8 times faster than the M1 variant and the Thunderbolt 5 ports also offer faster data transfer speeds. The M4 Mac Mini can support up to 64GB of memory and 8TB of SSD storage depending on your needs.

For connectivity, the Mac Mini has two USB C ports on the front, as well as a headphone jack. On the back, you have a plethora of ports; Ethernet, HDMI, Thunderbolt 4 or 5, USB 4 and DisplayPort. The Mini also supports Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.

Wednesday October 31: time for MacBook Pro M4

Apple concluded its big Mac launch event with the M4 MacBook Pro series. The M4 MacBook Pro doesn’t see many design changes, and it all comes down to the hardware inside the machine that Apple is counting on to attract buyers. The M4 Pro and M4 Max promise faster performance and longer battery life than previous versions.

The 14-inch MacBook Pro has ThunderBolt 4 ports, while the 16-inch variant comes with the new ThunderBolt 5 standard.

The Apple MacBook Pro M4 is available in 14-inch and 16-inch models, with a starting price of Rs 1,69,900 and Rs 2,49,900, respectively. You can choose from the M4, M4 Pro or M4 Max variants, depending on your needs and budget.

The company has launched MacBook Air M2 and M3 versions with 16GB RAM as the default RAM option for buyers, and they will be available at the same price as the 8GB RAM model in the market.

This means that the 13-inch MacBook Air M2 model with 16GB RAM is priced at Rs 99,900 and you get it with 256GB SSD storage. The 13-inch M3 variant starts from Rs 1,14,900 for the 256GB model.
