As I have explained in previous columns, the current Democratic coalition (it can and will change over time) is primarily built around race, gender and sexual preferences. It is undeniable that a person’s race and gender cannot be controlled. At birth, people have no say in the color of their skin or gender. There is, however, a huge debate over whether “sexual orientation” is a matter of birth or choice. Democrats emphasize the first point, and it is one of their main areas of attack on Christianity and the family. People can’t control who they are. But can they control what they do?

Traditional Christianity teaches free will, that is to say that no one is born a murderer, nor a thief, nor an adulterer, nor a homosexual, and even less “transgender”. These are choices made and not actions determined by heredity. Each individual indeed has different “sins” that tempt him. You could put all the alcohol in the world in front of me, and I’d never touch a drop. I can’t stand all this. This doesn’t tempt me at all. But other people are drawn to alcohol and drunkenness. Or drugs. Or pornography. Or a theft. Or whatever evil attracts them. This is what “temptation” is, which is different for each person. This is also why we must “conquer ourselves”.

Plato was right about 2,500 years ago: “The first and greatest victory is to conquer oneself; to be conquered by oneself is of all things the most shameful and vile. Humans must learn to control their baser desires. Every time you give in to temptation, you weaken morally and resistance becomes more difficult. Obviously, some people reach a point where they absolutely can’t (or won’t) hold back. This produces robberies, murders, rapes, etc., and often people (especially Democrats) try to justify such behavior. But the main thing is that we choose our actions. No one forces us (except perhaps under threat of harm) to perform any action. As long as I act according to the freedom of my will, my actions belong to me and belong only to me. I am entirely responsible for this and must accept all the consequences.

But for leftists (Democrats), the above only applies if you are racist, sexist, trans, or homophobic. Or a Trump supporter. BLM can destroy lives and property all across America and, to Chuck Schumer and Kamala Harris, it’s “meh.” But January 6, 2021 was the worst insurrection since the civil war. Chicago, Baltimore, St. Louis, Philadelphia, et al., can have multiple murders every week…” meh. But if you say a word against it, you are a racist and a “white supremacist.” Trans people can kill Christians, but guess whose fault it is? You got it: Christians who defend God’s truth. Democratic Party propaganda is an attack on traditional values, and it is deliberate.

Conservatives believe that men are born men and that any man who claims to be a woman is, at best, mentally ill. But indeed, some men are (apparently) born with the need, the temptation to be effeminate. It is just that: a temptation, just like the temptation to commit adultery, etc. Those who have the desire to fly must overcome and resist. Men who want to be a woman must overcome this urge and act like what they are: men. But the Democratic Party particularly encouraged their desire to be a “woman.” And – crucially – it is now politicized and part of the current Democratic Party coalition, and that is why they tolerate sex education for kindergartners, drag shows, MAPs, mutilation of children, etc.

The more people recruited to this lifestyle, the more voters the Democratic Party will have. It’s exactly the same principle as open borders: the more illegal immigrants who enter the country and receive “benefits” from Democratic politicians, the more powerful that party will become. This has nothing to do with the well-being of children, adults or the country. It has everything to do with power and tyranny – two temptations that absolutely no democrat seems willing to resist.

The left doesn’t believe in God, at least not in any God that you and I could ever recognize. Thus, the state, the government, becomes the supreme authority. Government, of course, is run by the people and, as the last 100 years demonstrate, the leftists who control governments believe that they, and they alone, have the wisdom to bring a utopia to humanity. This could – and still does – cost millions of human lives. But it doesn’t matter; getting heaven on earth is an acceptable price. Let us eliminate the “counter-revolutionaries” as quickly and decisively as possible so that the great socialist Shangri-la can arrive sooner. Every communist country has killed countless innocent people. But it has never yet produced the promised utopia.

And that’s the Democratic Party of America. They know better than you how to manage your life. They will define an ever-changing morality that you must believe in. And, if you don’t believe it, this morality says you are a racist, sexist, trans, homophobic white supremacist (even if you are black or female). You are not part of their current coalition. You must be censored because what you are saying is immoral, harmful to society, “hate speech” and will inhibit the great socialist utopia they will bring to our country. THEY will succeed where Lenin, Stalin, Mao et al. failed.

American leftists, in principle, are no different from leftists in the rest of the world. And, if given enough power…well, review the last 100 years of totalitarian government to see the results.

The Democratic Party does not care about black people, women, or transgender people any more than the Chinese Communist Party cares about its people. Coalitions are a means to an end: total power. This is a coalition that they can use, and are using with great success, to take control of America.
