Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has identified Kylian Mbappe as the team’s biggest problem.

Ancelotti believed Mbappe was behind their current struggle for form.

The French captain arrived in Spain this summer as a free agent, having left Paris Saint-Germain at the end of his career.

However, life in Madrid has been far from smooth sailing for Mbappe, whose arrival has coincided with Los Blancos struggling to mount convincing defenses for their La Liga and European triumphs.

During their recent 4-0 humiliation by Barcelona in the Clasico, Mbappe left fans frustrated with his finishing and tendency to stray offside during the match.

The 25-year-old’s preference to be deployed as a central striker has also forced Jude Bellingham into a deeper midfield role, with the Englishman yet to score this season following a breakthrough previous campaign at Santiago Bernabeu.
