The title is misleading.

Unfortunately, the Mediterranean portfolio is not about cruise ships, olive oil or palm trees. Rather, Croatian Dubravka Šuica is one of three commissioners appointed to answer questions on migration and the European Union’s ever-important trade and investment questions.

Šuica, former MEP, former mayor of Dubrovnik, and German teacher, was reappointed for a second term as commissioner. During her first term, she was vice-president in charge of democracy and demography.
