Brokerage firm Angel One on Friday settled with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) paying Rs 57.46 crore for multiple alleged regulatory violations.

The panel of full-time members of Sebi approved the recommended amount on October 15 and was received by the regulator on October 23, “without admitting or denying the findings of fact and conclusions of law.”

In March, the regulator had sent the company an arbitration show cause notice as well as an investigation show cause notice asking why an investigation and penalty should not be imposed on the company. Angel One under the respective regulations.
